OFFSET PRINTING

OFFSET PRINTING

Offset-printing is a commonly used printing technique in which the inked image is transferred from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface. When used in combination with the lithographic process, which is based on the repulsion of oil and water, the offset technique employs a flat image carrier.

This method of printing is ideal for big quantities and much cheaper than digital printing.

QUICK DIGITAL PRINTING

QUICK DIGITAL PRINTING

Digital-printing refers to methods of printing from a digital-based image directly to a variety of media. It usually refers to professional printing where small-run jobs from desktop publishing and other digital sources are printed using large-format and/or high-volume laser or inkjet printers.

Digital printing is costly compared to offset printing and prices do not come down when increasing the quantity. Unlike offset-printing, digital-printing do not cause color variations and produce clean and soft results.

BANNERS

BANNERS

If you’re looking for a simple way to make big impact, a custom banner might be the perfect option. With vibrant colors and eye-catching images, banners are a great way to promote your business at an affordable price.

For banners we use Malasian made flex material and they last longer than the cheap Chinese material that are widely used in the market.

KNOW THE BASICS

Colors Matter

  • HUMAN EYE
  • The human eye can see 7,000,000 colors. Some of these are eyesores. Certain colors and color relationships can be eye irritants, cause headaches, and wreak havoc with human vision. Other colors and color combinations are soothing. Consequently, the appropriate use of color can maximize productivity, minimize visual fatigue, and relax the whole body.

  • RGB
  • RGB color space or RGB color system, constructs all the colors from the combination of the Red, Green and Blue colors. The red, green and blue use 8 bits each, which have integer values from 0 to 255. This makes 256x256x256=16777216 possible colors.

  • CMYK
  • As its name implies, 4 ink colors are used in 4-Color Process printing. These four colors are Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black, which are known collectively as CMYK. In fact, 4-Color Process printing is frequently referred to as CMYK printing.

  • PANTONE
  • Pantone Formula Guides and Solid Chips contain over 2000 solid (spot) Pantone Matching System Colors for printing ink on paper. The majority of these colors are referred to using a three- or four-digit number followed by a C or U.

  • PANTONE vs. CMYK
  • The main difference between CMYK and Pantone printing is the level of accuracy. The Pantone process is more consistent and able to produce colors closer in shade to the ones seen in the digital design stage. However, it is also more costly than CMYK in most cases, especially if the print job is small. With CMYK, it’s easier to bundle different jobs together than it is with Pantone. For a Pantone print job, the machine has to be prepped for each different print job. Therefore, it’s more cost effective to run large print jobs with the Pantone system rather than small ones.
